Hiram (hi-rum) is a writer and designer for the stage and screen currently working on an adult dark academia vampire novel. With a career spanning theatre, live entertainment, and immersive experiences, he brings a rich storytelling background to every project.

Originally from Alamo, Texas, Hiram graduated from the University of Iowa before beginning his professional career at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., where he served as a Costumes Fellow assisting an array of acclaimed regional theatre and Broadway designers. He later returned to the Rio Grande Valley, where he became the Managing Director of Dancing at Tiffany’s Theatre and worked extensively as a costume and lighting designer.

Hiram has also shared his passion for storytelling and design through education, teaching theatre, costume design, and creative writing courses at Lamar Academy, an International Baccalaureate World School, and at Del Sol Academy for the Performing Arts.

His work in live entertainment includes touring nationally with Netflix’s Stranger Things: The Experience as the Head of Wardrobe. He currently serves as the Head of Wardrobe for Shin Lim’s Limitless residency at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

Now based in Las Vegas with his fiancé and two dachshunds, when he is not writing or working in entertainment, you can find Hiram buying too many books, buying too many board games, or buying too many dog toys and snacks.
